Teela Stoll B.Sc., P.Biol. – Director, Aquatic and Wildlife Ecologist
Teela Stoll is the founder and principal biologist at Great Gray Environmental Ltd., which she founded in 2018 to provide field and desktop support to project proponents and larger consulting companies. She is a professional biologist with over twelve years of experience working as an environmental consultant in western Canada.
She is experienced in compliance and approvals through all phases of projects including:
- – pipeline construction,
- – integrity digs,
- – oilsands mines,
- – transportation and culvert/outfall projects,
- – wind and solar projects,
- – facility construction and monitoring,
- – incident/spill response,
- – bank stabilization, and
- – flood remediation works.
She is adept at study design, desktop scoping/planning, wildlife and fish inventories, Species at Risk surveys, habitat investigations, nest sweeps, aquatic and terrestrial wildlife salvage, construction monitoring, data analysis, and reporting. Her familiarity with the ecology and regulatory framework of both aquatic and terrestrial wildlife allows her to conduct concurrent surveys, creating field efficiencies and consistency in data, mitigation recommendations, and reporting.
